Hi, I’m Olivia
I moved to Finland several years ago as a student and since then I have fallen in love with the country and the lovely nature. I had no good knowledge of Finland, because at that time, there was no useful information online, especially from the eyes of a Foreigner already living in Finland. So I lived my first few years in Finland through thick and thin moments. Then I decided to do something about that lack of information. I started a Blog and a YouTube Channel. For many years I documented (I still do) my research findings, experiences and the experiences of others online thereby amassing a good number of following. As an expat living in Finland for many years, through research, experiential strategies, surveys, and interactions with Finns as well as interviews of other Foreigners living here, I have gathered a wealth of knowledge about Finland, and have come to understand the way of life of the Finnish people, and how the system works. Here on this platform, you will be learning all about Finland from another Foreigner who, many years ago, was just like you: Excited to be moving to Finland, anxious about how life in Finland would be, curious to know how practical things like job opportunities for foreigners truly is...(the list is endless).
